Soon you'll figure out that the worst part is the sore bum. Here are some pointers to beat the heat. Stop at a convenience store to get ice cream--LIFE SAVER! In the winter they sell hot lemonade--also great to warm the bones. Oh boy, I am so jealous of you right now. Dendo no ato, nihongo ga jyozu ni natte,matt to isho ni, hanashimasho. I totally know how you feel about the heat and ac transition. I served in an area with NO ac for 4 transfers. At night, we just had a fan that would rotate blowing between me and my companion. So dang HOT in Japan! Enjoy the food. Get a good bowl of ramen and some gyoza for me. I have been craving that for years now. Oh, and make your companion take you to a tabehodai--best restaurants ever. I miss Japan and all the experiences that you are now having. Live it up Elder. Work your butt off! Keep me updated. I can not believe that you are serving in Tokyo, That was totally my mission, except I was there when there was a Tokyo kita and minami. i actually served in two areas in the Chiba area. Togane and Chosei. Consider yourself lucky to start our in Chiba ken. They have very strong members and the areas are pretty. i can't wait to hear more about what is going on with you. Ganbatte!
